Do I need a 3D printer to take this course?+
No. Every concept is taught through interactive browser simulators — a full slicer, a real parametric CAD Studio, failure labs and a 3D printer you can take apart. You can complete the entire curriculum with nothing but a browser.
Is this suitable for kids?+
Yes. The Explorer Track is designed for ages 7–12 with supervised, age-appropriate content. The Builder and Engineer tracks scale up to teens and adults.
What software does it teach?+
CAD Studio is a real sketch-and-extrude parametric CAD editor, tiered from a guided Shape Lab up to a full feature-tree, constraint-based workspace — the thinking behind Tinkercad and Onshape. Slicer Studio slices real STL files to G-code, the same job as OrcaSlicer. The skills transfer directly to the real tools.
Will I get a certificate?+
